My friend Peter Noble called me today to encourage me with the English to Spanish CDS he gave to me to study.
I think he saw my face on Saturday, when I began to play the CDs, and I looked a little overwhelmed to say the least. Anyways, he recommends I just take it step by step and continue to repeat the CDs. So I will get on a-tryin’.
Dee (travel buddy) called from Ohio today to let me know our room in Madrid is confirmed. We might also go to France (just for a day) on our return.
Since I am green as it gets for traveling abroad, I decided to tune-up my ears to conversational Spanish. So I am watching (listening) to various Spanish speaking cable channels. I found a cool one today which is a cooking program in Spain. Perfect!
They were cooking Octopus. It actually looked pretty good once it

Paris for a day… OH my… event though most my time will be spent in Paris in the evening… I don’t care. I will see Paris in lights!!!
I will find a blues club to pass my time. Order a very Parisian drink and smoke a Parisian cigarette. The fact that I don’t smoke matters not.
